had dinner on thursday with my kong2 and aunty. food was really good :D

so we celebrated nelia's birthday yesterday. we gave her a successful surprise and it ended of really good. we first watch pirates which was really hilarious, i mean, its not as bad as some people describe it to be. sitting down in cinemas for 3 hours gives you toe cramps. haha. (: then we had dinner at NYDC. we practically sat there from 5pm- 9pm, waiting for people to come. then i took the bus home with nelia because i was staying over at her house, and we slacked in her room for a little while. then danielle called us for "supper" and we went down, everyone was waiting outside the lift. they shouted SURPRISE and sang happy birthday!(: yay, i was so pleased everything went well. she didnt expect it at all, which was even better. so, to all you who helped to make this surprise possible, A BIG THANK YOU(: <3 after the surprise, we wanted to catch shrek 3 at 2am but were ultra lazy, so in the end we just had supper at mas ayu. came back around 4plus and went to sleep by 5am. the worst thing was, i woke up at 950am! i am feeling like super stoned now.

talked to crystal recently and i've been doing quite a lot of thinking. i haven't really been spending much time with the younger girls and a few girls. i guess, i'll have to take the effort to do it. we have to make everyone feel belonged. (: i'll try.
VANESSA NEEDS TO PRIORITIZE.

no one says being a christian is going to be easy, and as you take up certain leadership roles, expectations rise and it gets harder. i'm learning so many many new things these days. its even worse as you get older. some things, some feelings get more important in life. your perspectives of things changes and you just have different mindsets. sometimes, i really feel like i am at my wit's end and i don't know what i can do. i know that God is always there for me, but its hard when you get drained, emotionally and physically. i guess sometimes, you need time for your own self too. i guess, you also need these experiences to grow more in the Lord.
